Author Sales — Delete Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your data associated with the Author Sales app.

How Author Sales works

Author Sales does not create or store its own user accounts. Sign-in is handled entirely through Envato's official OAuth login ("Sign in with Envato"). Author Sales never sees or stores your Envato password — only a temporary access token, which is kept on your device only.

All app data (cached earnings, statements, and settings) is stored locally on your device. Author Sales does not operate its own servers or databases that store your personal data.

How to delete your data

Revoke app access from your Envato account — sign in at account.envato.com, go to Connected Apps / Authorized Applications, and revoke access for "Author Sales". This immediately invalidates the access token used by the app.
Delete local app data — on your device, go to Settings → Apps → Author Sales → Storage → Clear Data (Android), or simply uninstall the app (iOS/Android). This permanently removes all cached earnings, statements, and settings stored on your device.
Cancel Premium subscription (if applicable) — subscriptions are managed by the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, not by Author Sales. To cancel or request a refund, manage your subscription directly through the Google Play subscriptions page or the App Store.

What is deleted vs. retained

Cached earnings / statements / portfolio data	Deleted	Stored only locally on-device; removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
App preferences (e.g. Dark Mode, currency)	Deleted	Stored only locally on-device; removed when app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
Your actual Envato sales/earnings data	Kept	This data belongs to your Envato author account and is retained by Envato regardless of Author Sales. See Envato's Privacy Policy.
Purchase/subscription records	Kept	Retained by Google Play / Apple App Store per their own retention policies, not by Author Sales.
